Our school district is unsurpassed in offering the finest core curricula. But there is more in Moore. Our students learn how to succeed, how to participate, how to persevere, and how to tolerate. Some of these strengths are demonstrated here.
Community InvolvementThe Moore Public Schools are part of a larger community. Students, faculty, and administrators are encouraged to respond to community needs outside the schools. Our kids, their sponsors, and mentors are consistently found in the community, actively doing their share and more (for Moore.) |

ResiliencyThe Moore School District is a "Blue Collar" community. We've taken our "hits." Every few years we contend with severe storm destruction. The hard work of school personel backed by a supportive and hard working community and school board, always allows the Moore Schools to persevere. We are proud of our resiliency and nowhere is it better demonstrated than the district's response to the destruction incurred in 1999 by the strongest tornado ever recorded by the US Weather Service. |
