Featured Speaker

Featured speaker for the Foundation Banquet this year was Dr. Daniel Sheaffer.

Dr. Daniel Sheaffer stirred the audience with stories and anecdotes about the important influence teachers and schools have on the lives of children. He even related a story about a valuable lesson on respect for authority he learned in elementary school. Dr. Sheaffer commended teachers for their dedication and hard work. He also stressed the significance of a good education system for the whole of the community.

As a member of the Moore Public School community, Dr. Sheaffer challenged those in attendance to support the work of the Foundation and promote the work of this organization so that students will reap the benefits of an excellent education.

Dr. Sheaffer concluded his remarks with announcement of a very generous gift from him and his wife, Bonnie Rose, to further the Foundation's work.

Thank you to Dr. Sheaffer from The Moore Public Schools Foundation for the presentation at this year's banquet. Thanks too to Dr. and Mrs. Sheaffer for their generosity. It is much appreciated.
