Sherri Cole, coach of the University of Oklahoma women's basketball team was the featured speaker. It was easily apparent why the Sooner's play such inspired and emotion-filled basketball. Ms. Cole is known for her motivational skills. Thank you, Coach Cole, for honoring us with your address.

The banquet allows the foundation the opportunity to present the current year's grants to the recipients. This year nine grants were presented totaling over 1800 dollars.

Aside from award presentations, the annual banquet serves as a fund-raiser for the Foundation. Individuals and local businesses purchase tickets at a modest premium to add to the Foundation's grant escrow account.
