Grant Review Process:
- Blind Screening
- Unbiased consideration of each proposal by the Grant Committee
- Teacher Interviews
- At the committee's option
- Considerations
- Grant Committee discussions and previous experience
- District endorsement/priorities/concern
- Alternative funding sources
- Ranking
- Priority is established for all proposals
- This priority is established by committee vote based on a scoring
rubric grid
- Recommendations
- Rankings are matched against available funds
- Discretionary recommendation of full or partial funding may be made
Allocation:
- Grant Committee recommendation is presented to the Board of Trustees for
final approval
- Recipients are notified of awards and certificates are presented
